Is anyone here a member of any local cycling clubs?
Ive been road cycling since March, but would like to step it up a notch, so would be interested to know if any local clubs cater for beginners, with social rides where I could build up my mileage and average speeds. Currently on 40 mile ride with a 15 mph average riding alone.
I don't want to join a club where the average is a lot higher and I'd be left for dust....:)

Im Chairman of Bolsover & District cycling club
We cater perfectly for beginners with a progressive thursday night road ride we call spiralling and a sunday ride soon to have A & B routes of approx 50/25 miles. We never leave anybody behind on a ride and provide plenty of off road oppurtunities too
