Chesterfield Cycle Campaign

Regular users of the Chesterfield Canal tow path will have noticed that the area alongside the new Mill Green link at Staveley has been extremely muddy over this winter.  Now that the link is complete, and Staveley Town Basin filled, work has started on resurfacing the path in this area and is expected to be completed this week.

Elsewhere on the canal, further resurfacing is due to take place between Bilby Lane and Mill Green in this financial year, although confirmed dates for the work are not available yet.
