We would also like to encourage companies to get involved in promoting cycling, and cycle commuting.  If your company is holding an event or promotional day, please get in contact and we can help to publicise it.  Some of the things commonly organised across the country include:

• Cyclists' Breakfast: Provide a free breakfast for any employee who travels into work by bicycle on the designated day.
• Cycle Promotion Day: Give the cyclists in your organisation an opportunity to promote cycling to other employees.  There are all sorts of things you can do: hold a mini-exhibition in your foyer; provide information on route planning; start offering the Cycle to Work scheme (see the Cycle to Work page on this website for more details).
• Cycling Try Out Day: There are organisations that can bring bikes to your company for employees to give cycling a go, and give advice on bikes and equipment.  See the Company of Cyclists website and Wheely Fun Wheels website for more details.

Bike Week is a great opportunity to promote cycling to a wider audience, and we always welcome volunteers to help with this.  If you have any good ideas for events and promotional activities, or would be willing to help with the rides and stall, please get in touch with the Secretary.
