Event Postponed
Message received from North East Derbyshire District Council - Due to the weather forecast they have decided to cancel the event on Wednesday 17th June.
The long range weather forecast for Wednesday is looking decidedly suspect with heavy rain across central England from 10.00am onwards. Although there is the opportunity to hold the event in our adjacent garages I feel colleagues will not want to partake in the try a bike event given the rain that is forecast.
Given this situation and without the availability of a large indoor space I have decided to cancel the event and rearrange for Wednesday 1st July subject to your availability.
I’m not in the office on Tuesday 16th but if you have any queries then I know Claire will be only too pleased to discuss anything with you.
