Chesterfield Cycle Campaign

This is a huge leisure development planned for the hillside to the right of the A61 dual carriageway north of Sheepbridge. It consists of a golf course with lodges in clusters and a large central building with shops and leisure facilities.

The initial phase has now been passed by CBC Planning Committee and it is expected that construction will begin within a year.

We hope that cycling and public transport measures we had asked for have been incorporated. Members of the Campaign have had a meeting with Rupert Carr (Developer) and discussed cycling provision around the site.
